rockfan Lovely rendition by Erika and all the band members. I saw the performance on youtube of the 'Bix Lives' concert and this track stood out for me amongst all the good music. Favorite track: I’m Blue And Lonesome.

Phil Good-Elliott This takes me back to summer days on the St. Louis Riverfront back in the 80's when I worked sound for classic jazz and ragtime festivals on the riverboats. Sounds so good!

JACOBUS DEBRUYN I saw Satchmo in person in Holland in 1959, been a fan of real New Orleans Jazz ever since. I am not a musician, but this sounds real, great playing. I like the humble down to earth look, Shaye looks worthy of a serious crush, LOL, without all the cosmetic trappings and hair arrangements of todays females. Natural, healthy look. Just be yourself.

about

Formed in 2009, Tuba Skinny has steadily evolved from a loose collection of street musicians into a solid ensemble dedicated to bringing the traditional New Orleans sound to audiences around the world. Drawing on a wide range of musical influences—from spirituals to Depression-era blues, from ragtime to traditional jazz—their sound evokes the rich musical heritage of their New Orleans home. The band has gained a loyal following through their distinctive sound, their commitment to reviving long-lost songs, and their barnstorming live performances. This is their 7th album.
